Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities according to established standards.
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors; clean windows, mirrors, and other surfaces.
- Change bed linens and towels; replenish supplies such as toiletries and linens.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Assist in deep cleaning projects as needed, including industrial cleaning tasks.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure efficient workflow.
Skills
- Proven experience in custodial or housekeeping roles preferred.
- Knowledge of hotel, medical, or hospitality standards is a plus.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team-oriented environment.
- Good communication skills for interacting with guests and staff members.
- Experience in floor care techniques is an advantage.
