Job Description:
The Environmental Director will be responsible for conducting environmental assessments, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have project management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct environmental assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Prepare and oversee the production of environmental documents, including Environmental Impact Statements
- Lead and manage projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and high-quality standards
- Create detailed engineering designs and plans for infrastructure projects
- Oversee land development projects from concept to completion
- Design and manage transportation projects, including traffic analysis and roadway design
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful project outcomes
- Ensure regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental planning and engineering
- Experience in land development, transportation design, and regulatory compliance
- Project management experience and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams
