Brief Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment in an automotive manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) plans. This role requires someone willing to work on equipment alongside their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Supervise maintenance staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and discipline as needed.
- Communicate job expectations and monitor staff performance while ensuring maintenance standards are met.
- Oversee installation and maintenance of production equipment and machinery.
- Monitor shift operations, allocate resources, and resolve operational problems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) plans to improve equipment reliability.
- Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities, reports, and logs.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize maintenance strategies and control costs.
- Provide hands-on leadership—this role requires a willingness to work on equipment alongside the team.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience supervising maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in CNC machinery, including installation and troubleshooting (programming experience is a plus).
- Experience with Maximo work order system for tracking maintenance activities.
- Proven ability to develop and implement preventive maintenance plans.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate tasks and provide clear direction.
- Experience in technical process control and quality assurance.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively, ensuring one task is completed before starting another.
- Hands-on experience with installing motors on hydraulic units.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required with 2-5 years of professional experience, OR
- Advanced degree with 0-3 years of professional experience.
- Prior experience in automotive manufacturing maintenance preferred.
Must-Have Qualifications:

✔ Experience developing PM maintenance plans
