Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform complex mechanical and electrical maintenance in an automotive manufacturing environment. This role involves diagnosing and repairing equipment issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring efficient operation of plant machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and combustion system malfunctions.
- Troubleshoot equipment faults using SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software.
- Modify and diagnose issues on ABB robots (Models M94, M98, M2000, M2600, M6700).
- Install, move, and align new and existing manufacturing equipment.
- Operate machine shop equipment with precision.
- Perform gas and electric welding operations.
- Maintain records of machine repairs and ensure a clean, organized workspace.
- Conduct preventive and proactive maintenance on plant equipment.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4 years of hands-on experience in Allen Bradley PLCs, Hydraulics, Robotics, and Welding.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities with die casting machine cells using PLCs and schematics.
- Proficiency in ladder logic navigation and interpretation.
- Experience working with ABB robot models for diagnostics and modifications.
Education & Certifications:
- Technical or vocational training (certificates or some college coursework required).
Additional Information:

- Pay rate up to $37.00/hr based on experience.
