Nocturnist Physician Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Nocturnist Physician to join our team in Statesville, North Carolina. This is a full-time position with a 14-shift per 28-day block schedule, offering a great work-life balance and opportunities for growth.
The physician will be responsible for caring for adult medicine patients during night shifts, working 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The hospital is a 247-bed not-for-profit community hospital with a strong focus on patient care and satisfaction.
The compensation package includes an annual salary of $350,000, as well as a productivity bonus of $5/RVU, which can amount to an additional $20-30,000 per year. Additionally, the hospital offers a sign-on bonus and a continuing medical education allowance of $3,000 per year.
The benefits package is comprehensive and starts on day one, with the exception of the 401(k) plan, which is active after 90 days. The hospital pays 80% of health insurance premiums, while employees pay 20%. Long-term and short-term disability insurance are also provided, with employees paying 25% and the company paying 75%. Aflac supplemental insurance is available at a discounted rate, and flex spending accounts are offered on a pre-tax basis.
