We are excited to announce our Client Account Specialist opening! The Client Account Specialist position is a full-time position.
The Client Account Specialist manages all financial transactions related to long and short term residential clients’ monies at Integrity’s Secaucus location. The Client Account Specialist is responsible for the accurate and proper handling of all client cash/funds entering or leaving the facility and maintaining accurate spreadsheets and paperwork on all financial matters for the program.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities of a Client Account Specialist
- Receive, record and disburse client funds
- Maintain all residential client accounts, process all cash-related transactions including AfterCare funds disbursement requests
- Prepare and process weekly bank deposits to PNC, Wells Fargo and Haven bank accounts
- Prepare and process requests for checks for clients’ birth certificates as needed by Entitlement Specialist
- Keep records on monies received and paid, house fees, deposits, copayments, fundraisers, etc.
- Monthly reconciliation of clients’ checking account
- Monthly calculation of meals billing for vendor clients
- Collect and maintain records of house fees due and paid for each
- Distribute monies and obtain needed signatures when client is discharged.
- Remove client from Finance daily population total (remove from active file)
- Perform additional supportive functions for the Finance Department as assigned
Preferred Qualifications for a Client Account Specialist:
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma Required - Some College or Associates degree preferred and Bachelors a plus!
- 1 – 3 years of experience in a working with cash/record keeping
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Offices, especially Excel
- New Jersey driver license
Specialized Skills, Abilities and Knowledge:
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications & internet
- Ability to create and edit Excel spreadsheets
- Ability to work with basic office equipment & phone systems
- High degree of accuracy in working with numbers (Strong basic math skills)
- Ability to compare and reconcile accounts
- Strong customer service skills; ability to effectively interact with people in a sensitive manner
- Strong, positive interpersonal skills in all interactions
- Ability to work independently with minimum daily supervision
- Strong attention to details
- Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality
- Organization and prioritization skills
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm
