Integrity In-Home Care LLC is seeking a compassionate and attentive Personal Care Aide to provide exceptional care to clients while focusing on fall prevention. This part-time role requires approximately 5 hours of care per day (25 hours weekly) to support clients in maintaining their safety, health, and independence in their homes.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist clients with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
  • Support mobility and ensure a safe home environment to reduce the risk of falls.
  • Monitor and assist with the use of mobility aids (e.g., walkers, canes, wheelchairs).
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing to minimize fall hazards.
  • Prepare and serve meals while ensuring dietary needs are met.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Report any changes in the clients condition or home environment to the supervisor promptly.
  • Document daily care activities and maintain accurate records.

    • Fall Prevention Focus :

  • Conduct regular checks for potential tripping hazards (e.g., loose rugs, cluttered pathways).
  • Provide reminders for medication and hydration to reduce fall-related risks.
  • Educate clients and family members on fall prevention strategies.

    • Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Personal Care Aide, Home Health Aide, or similar role (preferred).
  • Understanding of fall prevention techniques and safety measures.
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients with mobility as needed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, reliability, and a caring demeanor.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation (if travel is required).
  • Certification in CPR / First Aid (preferred).
