- On-going commitment from March 2025
Schedule and Shifts
- Scheduled clinic hours and on-call duties
- Full-time position
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
- One weekend of call per month, primarily phone calls only from Friday night to Monday morning
Clinical Details
- Practice settings: outpatient and inpatient
- Patient load: 15-20 patients per shift
- Rounding patients: assigned and unassigned
- Supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
- Typical Hematology/Oncology practice
- Bone marrow biopsies available as an option
- Equipment: Intellidose TxM
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in a relevant specialty
- Fellowship training
- ACLS, ATLS, BLS certifications
- Preferred skills:
- Management of bone marrow transplants
- Participation on a tumor board
- Knowledge of blood bank procedures
- Management of VAD/CV Catheters
- FNA/Biopsy procedures
- Chemotherapy - Intrathecal and Intracavitary
Call Responsibilities
- Pager system for emergency notifications
- Call ratio: 1:2
- Occasional patient consultations during on-call shifts
- Admissions handled by hospitalists
Support Staff
- Registered Nurses (RNs), Medical Assistants (MAs), APPs, and office staff
Electronic Medical Record System
- Cerner EMR software
