At Integrity Locums, we are seeking an experienced Medical Oncologist to join our team. As a Hematology Physician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with blood cancers and other hematological disorders.
Job Description
- We are looking for a skilled Physician who is Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology and has completed a Fellowship program in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care to patients with blood cancers and other hematological disorders.
- Conduct bone marrow biopsies and manage related treatments.
- Participate in tumor boards and contribute to patient care decisions.
- Manage VAD/CV Catheters and perform FNA/Biopsy procedures.
- Care for patients with Intrathecal and Intracavitary chemotherapy.
Work Environment
You will be working in an outpatient and inpatient setting, rounding on assigned and unassigned patients. You will have the opportunity to supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and work with a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Hematology/Oncology.
- Fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology.
- Current ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications.
- Preferred Skills: Management of bone marrow transplants, Participation on a tumor board, Blood bank management, Management of VAD/CV Catheters, FNA/Biopsy, Chemotherapy - Intrathecal and Intracavitary.
