Responsibilities
- Create engaging, high-quality videos, that align with the overall strategic marketing plan through multiple distribution methods
- Execute videos end-to-end, from concept to distribution, including pre-production, setup, reviewing footage, creating rough cuts, color grading, audio editing, animations and more
- Storyboard, script and scope larger video projects with collaboration from other marketing teammates
- Identify, schedule, coach and prep on-air individuals so content is easily digestible and energetic
- Effectively communicate deadlines and progress with stakeholders throughout the video creation process
- Plan, set up, execute and troubleshoot audio and video needs for in-house, virtual and hybrid events, with a focus on the best client experience
- Set up, execute, edit and post a weekly company-wide Friday morning meeting
- Organize and maintain audio and video assets archive in a consistent way to enable easy identification and access by the entire marketing team
- Manage our video hosting platform (Wistia) and report on results
- Assist business leaders with best practices in setup and recording individual videos or podcasts
- Stay up to date on emerging audio and video production and distribution technology platforms
- Ensure A/V equipment and procedures manual remain up to date
- Perform other duties as required
Talents and Abilities
- Confidence setting up, operating and troubleshooting professional A/V mixers, lighting, cameras and other equipment (Blackmagic experience a bonus!)
- Intermediate understanding of visual composition and lighting techniques for a video shoot
- Proficiency in adjusting audio frequencies or effects to get the best sound possible
- Knowledge and proven ability to run virtual meeting & streaming platforms
- Strong organization of the video process regarding deadlines, scheduling talent, equipment preparation, etc.
- Ability to communicate the process and progress with all parties involved in each project
- Flexibility in your schedule to stay late as needed to support events (usually less than once a month)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift objects of 30lbs or more
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in communications, film, marketing, fine arts or a related discipline
- Minimum of two years of experience in an agency or corporate creative environment, or the equivalent internship experience
- Prior experience with professional video and audio software is required (Adobe, Avid, etc.)
