Vice President of National Sales to lead and grow our sales efforts across the country. This strategic role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding our client base, and adding new accounts in all regions. This individual is expected to provide sales leadership, cultivate relationships at all levels, and harness a passion for building a high-performance sales organization.
Position Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the national sales strategy to achieve aggressive growth targets across all regions of the U.S.
- Identify key opportunities and focus areas for expanding the customer base and increasing market penetration.
- Lead efforts to secure new accounts, build relationships with potential clients, and drive new business opportunities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and position the company’s products/services effectively.
- Manage and support regional sales teams, ensuring alignment with national objectives while addressing regional market nuances.
- Drive regional sales performance and ensure proper support for account acquisition and retention.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptional service and identifying opportunities for upsell or cross-sell.
- Act as a primary point of contact for high-level client negotiations and key partnerships.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, trends, and KPIs.
- Provide regular updates to the executive team on progress toward goals and forecast future sales growth.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing national sales team.
- Recruit top-tier sales talent, provide ongoing training, and foster a culture of accountability and success.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and service teams to align sales strategies with company offerings, ensure product/service improvements, and enhance client satisfaction.
Position Requirements
- Proven experience in sales leadership, with a track record of growing external sales and acquiring new business on a national scale.
- Strong ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies and processes across multiple regions.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers at all levels of an organization.
- Experience managing and scaling national sales teams, including remote or geographically dispersed teams.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and drive revenue growth in a competitive market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends, forecast sales, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Results-oriented with a focus on driving measurable sales outcomes.
