Fleet Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of service.

Responsibilities

• Operate box truck for the transportation of goods.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly during transit.
• Perform route driving to deliver products to designated locations efficiently.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery schedules.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license is required; Class C is acceptable must have a clean driving record.
• Experience in moving, delivery driving, or warehouse operations is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or driving.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
