Assistant to Property Supervisor (Burbank)

Job Summary :
The Assistant to Property Supervisor is an entry level position; responsible for clerical and maintenance duties in a residential and commercial property operation. Duties typically include communication with tenants, maintenance issues, advertising, leasing process including credit checks and preparing leases and general clerical work.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Handle tenant maintenance issues and oversee completion with vendor.
Leasing process includes obtaining necessary documents to screen the tenant, credit check and preparing the lease and collecting deposit etc.
Prepare move-out disposition and ensure that it is mailed out within 21 days of move-out.
Advertising and updating vacancy list.
Prepare tenant letters and notices including 3-day notices, notice to enter, rental increases, smoke detectors, inspections etc.
Input notes in AppFolio, work orders and updating tenant information.
Support Property Supervisor on requested matters.
Review, schedule and oversee yearly inspections for smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors.
Obtain bids and quotes for services and repairs.
Answer phones, promote vacant units.
Job Qualifications
Education : High school diploma or equivalent
Experience : 1-2 years of related experience skills
