Job Summary:
Integrity Senior Healthcare Management is looking for an energetic, passionate, and dedicated Activity Director to join our growing team! The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He/She will be committed to providing high-quality programs that promote wellness and independence. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Activities Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the center while also providing support, guidance, and leadership to the staff. This position reports to the Administrator.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, execute, and monitor all activities of the Activity Center including but not limited to: curriculum development, program design, staffing, client services, and billing
- Coordinate activities with other community agencies as needed. Assist in planning community events as needed
- Assist in developing annual budget for center operations. Assist in planning volunteer activities for center as needed
- Maintain an active professional life balance between work responsibilities and social justice initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator
- Required Skills:
- Must be able to work independently as well as collaborate with others within the center management team
- Must have Assisted Living Activities certification or be willing to obtain within first 6 months of employment.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to work in a team environment; must be able to work effectively under pressure; must be able to maintain composure under pressure; must be able to maintain composure under stress; must be able to demonstrate strong organizational skills; must be able to manage time effectively; must have excellent communication skills; must have excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office applications (Outlook & Word); CPR First Aid certification preferred (or willing to obtain within first 30 days of employment)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

- Activities in an AL or MC: 1 year (Preferred)
