A local company in the Plymouth, Michigan area is seeking Assembly Techs / Machine Builders for long-term positions with their growing team. Looking for junior to senior candidates. Assembly Techs / Machine Builder rates are anticipated to start between $23 to $28/hour based on each candidate’s experience and education. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Overtime is paid at premium rates over 40 hours.
Qualified Assembly Techs / Machine Builders should have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:
- Any mechanical or machine assembly or building experience, mechanically inclined.
- Any knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps is good.
- Any experience with welding and fabrication (10% of the role or less).
- Any electrical skills are a plus, but not essential.
- Able to read and work from blueprints.
- Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, etc.
Salary : $23 - $28
