Sr. Electrical Design Engineer - Signal Product Manufacturing
A highly rated Nationwide Company with an Electronics Manufacturing Facility in a South suburb of Chicago, IL area is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for a direct hire opportunity with their growing team. Qualified candidates will have most (if not all) of the following skills and experiences:
- 5 or more years of Electrical Engineering Design experience. Must have solid experience with PCB Design.
- Must Develop Layout Concepts, Parameters and Designs for New and Updated Product Re-designs.
- Must be able to use calculations and evaluation of alternatives for current product design and their functionality in current product designs.
- Conducts feasibility studies and prepares preliminary cost estimates of designs and redesigns.
- Experience with bid packages, be able to create BOMs, assist in ordering parts and supplier sourcing of part fabrication or closely related is strongly desired.
- Assists in generating detail specifications of the individual components of the new design and replacement components in end of life and in cost reductions projects.
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar coursework is preferred
- Must be able to work in the United States (Green Card and US Citizens only- ITAR compliance required).
- Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
