What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Programmer position at Integrity Staffing Services?
The CNC Machinist / Programmer is expected to have a comprehensive understanding of CNC machining operations. This role is tasked with working in close concert with leads, engineering teams, and machining operations management to increase productivity and optimizing machining programs and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Set up and operate multi-axis CNC mills up to 5-axis
- Set up and operate CNC Lathes with Y axis and Live Tooling
- Set up tools as per program requirements
- Inspect parts via probing and / or using hand tools to verify dimensions
- Complete machining operations from CAD, blueprints, drawings and / or verbal instructions
- Work with complex, tight tolerance parts and various materials
- Meet expectations for productivity
- Communicate with shop leadership when production is inhibited
- Continuously provide feedback for process improvements
