We are looking for a Business Development Specialist to provide a variety of support to the field sales team.
The successful candidate will become the point of reference for Sales and customers by creating opportunities for our sales team, setting appointments, participating in sales meetings and blitz days, providing feedback, and documenting all activity.
The goal is to increase and add value to the team’s activities maximizing sales performance and the solid and long-lasting development of a new client base in your assigned territory.

What You’ll Do
- Source new sales opportunities through mining a lead database, the CRM, and following up on marketing inbound leads through phone calls and email communication.
- Ensure all marketing-provided leads are followed up within 24 business hours.
- Understand and document all prospecting activity, customer needs, and requirements in CRM system(s).
- Set appointments for BDMs and Sales Directors in assigned markets with qualified opportunities for further development and closure.
- Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas for setting appointments.
- Research accounts, identify key decision makers, and generate interest levels in staffing services.
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territories.
- Team with BDMS and Sales Directors to build pipelines and close deals.
- Perform effective online presentations to prospects as needed.
- 2 years of sales and customer service experience required.
- HS Diploma required; college experience preferred.
- Experience in Salesforce/Bullhorn is helpful but not required.
- Excellent phone/email and in-person communication skills are essential.
- Self-driven, attention to detail is essential.
