Job Opportunity : Maintenance Technician
A client of ours located in Wilsonville is looking for a Maintenance Technician.
About the Company : This company uses advanced metal injection molding technology to create top-quality small precision parts. Their parts are known for their exceptional strength, corrosion resistance, and density.
Permanent hire chance post-contract hours.
Responsibilities :
- Perform routine equipment repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Assemble and disassemble mechanical machines and facilities equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures to identify and solve root causes of malfunctions or process issues.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on various machinery and systems.
- Configure and repair plumbing systems, including brazing.
- Assist Controls and Automation Technicians with basic electrical, PLC / controls, and automation troubleshooting and repairs.
- Operate and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including lockout / tagout / tryout procedures.
- Perform tasks independently, especially during unsupervised shifts.
- Maintain and ensure proper functioning of robotics systems (if applicable).
- Utilize knowledge of arc flash safety (if applicable).
- Conduct technical troubleshooting to improve machine performance and process results.
Requirements :
Regular Schedule : Sunday–Thursday, starting Saturday 11 PM and ending Thursday 7 : 30 AM.
Training Schedule : Monday – Friday, 7AM - 3 : 30PM (approximately 3 month)
Pay : $23 - $26 / hr. DOE
