Job Opportunity : Packaging Operator (Multiple Schedules)

Aclient of ours in Tualatin is looking to add Packaging Operators to their team.

About the Company : Founded in 1987, this Tualatin-based company produces natural and organic foods, focusing on sustainability and responsible sourcing. Offering soups, broths, and plant-based beverages, they prioritize simple ingredients, environmental stewardship, and community engagement to promote health and wellness.

Permanent hire chance post-contract hours

Responsibilities :

Operate downstream equipment, including conveyor line, accumulator, capper, wraparound unit, labeler, and ink jet printer
Perform sanitation and rework duties as needed
Perform package and case integrity tests to uphold all quality standards
Maintain sanitary environment at all times
Ensure supplies are stock up and in appropriate designated location
Keep accurate, detailed and neatly written documentation.
Ensure food safety and quality protocols are followed.
Ensure all Safety and GMP regulations are followed at all times
Responsible for providing coverage in the absence of other Packaging Operators.
Ensure Redzone downtime codes are accurate.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements :

High school degree or equivalent required.

Six months plus food processing and / or production experience preferred.

Must have the ability to become certified forklift operator.

Ability to work with moderate supervision, be detail oriented, and exercise independent judgment

Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills

Strong interpersonal communication skills including the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language

Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)

Ability to multitask

Ability to push up to 300 pounds and pull up to 500 pounds with mechanical assistance and lift and / or carry up to 50 pounds, frequently.

Schedule :

BHD - Thursday to Saturday, e / o Wednesday, 6 : 00 am to 6 : 30 pm

FHG - Sunday to Tuesday, e / o Saturday, 6 : 00 pm to 6 : 30 am

BHG - Wednesday to Friday, e / o Saturday, 6 : 00 pm to 6 : 30 am

Pay : $18 / hour $1.50 shift differential

Salary : $18
