A client located in Tualatin is looking for a Sandblast Operator.

Permanent hire chance post-contract hours.
Responsibilities :
- Operates sandblasting and recovery equipment to remove sand, scale, or other markings in preparation for painting or anodizing.
- Positions and turns parts to ensure complete blasting of all surfaces.
- Visually inspect parts upon removal from the blast cabinet.
- Maintains accurate part counts and manages variable workloads.
- Loads and unloads racks and baskets as needed per instructions.
- Prepares components for assembly when required.
- Monitors equipment performance, reporting malfunctions, supply needs, or repairs.
- Reports on quality issues, defects, or material concerns.
- Follows production priorities to meet scheduling requirements.
- Enforces safety precautions, including wearing protective equipment, especially eyewear.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area, including draining shakers, cleaning basins, rinsing filters, wiping down equipment, and sweeping designated areas.
- Adheres to company policies and safety regulations.
Requirements :
Schedule : Monday – Friday, 5AM – 1 : 30PM
Pay : $17.86 / hr.
