Job Opportunity : Second Ops. Operator
A client located in Tualatin is looking for a Second Ops. Operator.
About the Company : Founded in 1991, this company has cornered the market in designing, manufacturing, and marketing detachable scope mounting systems.
Permanent hire chance post-contract hours.
Responsibilities :
- Deburrs and finishes metal parts using hand tools and sandblasting.
- Operates sandblasting and recovery equipment to remove sand, scale, or other markings in preparation for painting or anodizing.
- Holds and positions parts to ensure complete blasting and surface smoothing.
- Performs visual inspections and fit / function tests as needed.
- Ensures parts meet quality standards and reports any defects or process issues.
- Maintains accurate part counts and manages variable workloads.
- Loads and unloads racks and baskets as required.
- Prepares components for assembly when needed.
- Monitors equipment performance and reports malfunctions, supply needs, or repairs.
- Follows production priorities to meet scheduling requirements.
- Adheres to safety regulations and company policies, including PPE use.
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace, including draining shakers, cleaning basins, rinsing filters, and sweeping designated areas.
- Assists coworkers with hands-on cross-training.
Requirements :
Schedule : Monday – Friday, 5AM – 1 : 30PM
Pay : $17.86 / hr.
