Controls and Instrumentation Technician - Cleveland, Ohio - JOB 25-00974
Salary Range : $25.00 - $35.00 / HR Permanent Position with Benefits.
Cleveland, Ohio manufacturer of Industrial HVAC and energy control systems is seeking to hire an experienced Controls and Instrumentation Technician
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Graduate, Vocational (Associate, Journeyman or Trade school is preferred)
- Perform repair and maintenance on control equipment using test instruments to diagnose and troubleshoot AC / DC circuits, adjust, and calibrate components
- Proficiency in digital and analog electronic control systems as well as in pneumatic & steam distribution systems
- Maintain and troubleshoot control systems, metering devices, and pressure monitoring equipment.
- Knowledge of medium and low voltage switchgear
- Knowledge of heat transfer, including conduction, convection, radiation, refrigeration cycle, evaporative cooling, and absorption chillers
- Must be physically fit to stand and walk for long periods, grasp, reach, twist, climb, bend, and kneel
- Capable of occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Exposure to large machinery, tight spaces and understanding how to safely navigate potentially hazardous conditions (steam, electricity / high voltage, hazardous chemicals, extreme cold, and extreme heat, wet, humid, and noisy environment)
- Good driving record for mobile emergency call-outs
