Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Safety, Reliability - Ashtabula, OH #25-00990
Salary Range : $90K - $145K Bonus - Permanent Position with Benefits.
A manufacturing company is seeking to hire a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be responsible for all the equipment in the plant.
REQUIREMENTS
- B.S. degree in mechanical engineering or other engineering discipline.
- 5 years manufacturing experience preferred, ideally in a chemical manufacturing plant.
- 3 years of experience in a related reliability role preferred.
- Apply technical engineering experience to implement global mechanical integrity standards to improve SHE and reliability performance.
- Strong understanding of issues that cause damage to plant equipment, piping and tanks and implement preventative methods.
- Experience with internal and external inspection, procedures and methods to predict areas prone to damage.
- Knowledge of process safety management
- Maintain plant mechanical and civil engineering standards.
- Full understanding and implementation of relevant legal requirements, codes, and engineering standards / processes.
- Mentoring and coaching skills.
- Good analytical, conceptual, and strategic thinking.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Prepared to challenge conventional norms and provide alternative solutions.
