Maintenance Technician - Starting at $28 / hr!

This position is a direct hire opportunity!

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our concrete precast client to start immediately Starting at $28 / hr! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!

Responsibilities :

Supports the Maintenance team with ensuring the proper functioning, upkeep, and safety of both building facilities and manufacturing equipment. This role includes performing maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and following preventative measures for both facility systems and production machinery, ensuring seamless operations in a manufacturing environment.

  • Equipment Maintenance and Repairs : Inspect, maintain, and repair manufacturing machinery and equipment, such as trucks, cranes, MI jacks, motors. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Preventative Maintenance for Manufacturing Equipment : Create and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime. Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency.
  • Emergency Response : Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production interruptions.
  • Maintenance and Repairs : Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components. Address facility-related issues, such as lighting, building security systems, and general upkeep.

Location : Indianapolis, IN

Schedule / Shift Details : 1st shift, Monday-Friday with a 3AM or 4AM start time. Some weekends, as needed. 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications :

  • Must be able to complete and pass the Safety Training Programs including but not limited to Lock-Out Tag-Out, Working from Heights, Confined Space, Forklift Operation, Manlift Operation.
  • Ability to complete mechanical repairs on small machines and equipment, as efficiently and safely as possible to reduce equipment downtime.
  • Ability to complete crane inspections.
  • Ability to perform general preventative maintenance (PM) and make equipment repairs, as directed, in a timely manner.
  • Previous manufacturing / industrial maintenance experience required.
  • Experience in concrete manufacturing a plus.
  • Welding certification desired.
  • EXCEL and Microsoft Office program knowledge a must.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to climb up onto or down from equipment.
  • Must be able to climb stairs / ladders and walk lengthy distances in an industrial setting
  • Occasionally it may be necessary to work in outside conditions that can include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust.
