We are looking for a dedicated Production Associate to join our team at a tortilla manufacturer. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products, packaging them efficiently, and preparing them for shipment. Key Responsibilities:- Quality Control: Stand at the production line to inspect tortillas and ensure they meet quality standards (e.g., size, texture, and appearance).
- Packaging: Properly package tortillas into designated packaging while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
- Master Case Packing: Place packaged products into master cases, ensuring correct labeling and preparation for shipment.
- Line Support: Assist with maintaining a smooth flow of production by keeping workstations clean and stocked with necessary materials.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all company safety, food handling, and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and supervisors to ensure production goals are met.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices (training provided).
- Ability to lift up to [25] lbs as needed for packaging and shipping purposes.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
