Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Senior Accountant for our foundry client to start immediately at $70k-$90k / annually DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!
Responsibilities :
The Senior Accountant position is responsible for processing all accounts payable, paying all vendors weekly via checks and automated transfers, tracking sales orders and sales backlog, and other expenses and sales analysis. The position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and will be expected to handle additional responsibilities such as preparing management reports, variance analysis and working with outside auditors. The senior accountant will be expected to cross-train in all accounting responsibilities and interact with other office staff, the Company sales team, and plant operations personnel. The
Company has one location and there is no travel required for this position.
- Daily bank account reconciliation, posting of cash receipts, and funding of payments to vendors.
- Daily balancing of subsidiary ledgers for accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain open orders log with scheduled shipment dates and weekly sales forecast.
- Work with third party transportation providers for delivery of Company shipments.
- Assist shipping and billing departments with customer service requirements.
- Assist raw material managers in tracking inventory and paying raw material suppliers.
- Assist plant operations manager in processing all other operating expenses.
- Apply cost accounting principles to accurately value and report all inventory manufactured and purchased.
- General ledger monthly work as directed by CFO.
- Reconcile GL accounts.
- Finalize accounts up to pre-closing.
- Account Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Accruals.
- Adjustment and passing Journal entries
