Shipping and Receiving Clerk - $21.50/hr

This position is temp-to-hire position

Integrity Trade Services is seeking a shipping and receiving associate for a refrigerated food warehouse in Burnham, IL. Candidates should have experience scheduling inbound and outbound shipments, along with handling driver documentation while maintaining great customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors/drivers in a timely and friendly manner.

• Sign drivers in and notify warehouse for dock assignment.

• Coordinate with warehouse and transportation to ensure timely and accurate preparation of shipping and receiving documents.

• Receives, counts, and logs cash received by carriers if applicable.

• Maintain WMS Scheduler, hard copy schedules, and updates visual aids for traffic flow.

• Verify paperwork with and releases drivers once paperwork is completed.

• Completes receipts including pallets for loads.

• Verify product and product count to ensure accuracy of data entered in computer.

• Notify management of pending no shows and/or unscheduled arrivals.

• Arrange outbound pick-up appointments for carriers and customer pickups.

• Call carriers for late and/or no-show trucks and reschedule appointments as necessary.

• Follows HACCP and SQF requirements for food quality and safety.

• Additional duties as assigned.

Location: Burnham, IL

Schedule/Shift Details

• Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
• 2nd shift. 3:30pm - 2:00am
• Overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed

Qualifications

• • At least 1 year Shipping & Receiving experience.

• • Must have exceptional customer service skills.

• • Must have basic math and computer skills.

• • Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

• • Strong Interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

• • Great attention to detail.

• • Must be a team player.

• • Willing to work weekends, holidays or different shifts when needed to ensure the business is operational 24/7.

• An employee that works in Illinois is entitled to accrue and use up to 40 hours of paid leave during a 12 month period or a pro rata number of hours of paid leave under the provisions of the State of Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act.? The 12 month accrual period is considered to begin for new employees on the employees first day of employment.? The company will match 100% of the first 3% of the employee contribution.? As well as, match 50% of the next 2% of the employee contribution. (The company contribution/match maximum is 4%)
