We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Utility Worker to join our team. Duties
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of job sites, ensuring all materials and equipment are organized and accessible.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Utilize software tools such as ProCore, Prolog, and HeavyBid for project management and documentation.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Support construction estimating processes by providing accurate measurements and material counts.
- Collaborate with supervisors to implement OSHA standards on-site, promoting a safe working environment.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in supervising teams and managing construction tasks effectively.
- Build relationships with team members to foster a cooperative work atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a utility or construction-related role is preferred.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
- Familiarity with software applications such as ProCore, Prolog, or HeavyBid is a plus.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining safety standards on the job site.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality control throughout all phases of work.
