Position Description
The Design Professional is a mainstay in the project work, contributing throughout all phases of design, including concept drawings, design development, technical documentation, and construction administration. The Design Professional also proactively demonstrates professional growth, improves ability to work independently, improves their understanding of roles within the team and firm, and understands the interdependency of disciplines. Our ideal candidate may be starting out in their career, but they are passionate about developing skills in design, marketing and other aspects of project development.
As a Design Professional, you will be an integral, full-time team member in our Architectural Group as you :
- Contribute to the preparation, production, and technical competence of the project documents for projects.
- Be self-motivated with a creative interest in solving problems through design.
- Proactively seek opportunities to improve your professional skills.
- Understand the broader building context, architectural elements and building systems and their role in design, and the ability to work alongside these elements in an integrated way.
- Have graphic and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Work independently and alongside teams to meet project constraints of budget and schedule.

Salary Range
This position offers $58,000 - $68,000 per year with a midpoint at $63,000. New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint, however, we may go slightly higher based on experience and market.
