Ideal candidates have a commitment to positively shaping the public realm and value collaboration as an integral component of the design process.As an experienced Interior Designer, you will be an integral, full-time team member in our Interior Design group as you : Effectively communicate with clients to realize and translate their vision into creative design solutions.Understand the broader building context, architectural elements, and building systems, and work alongside these elements in an integrated way.Develop, prepare, and coordinate verbal and visual presentation content.Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and vendors to coordinate project details.Work independently and alongside a team to meet project constraints of budget and schedule.A successful candidate is highly communicative, possesses the ability to motivate others to reach finite milestones, and contributes expertise to project teams.Position RequirementsBachelor’s Degree or higher in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.8 years of experience in interior design or a related field.NCIDQ Certification.Familiarity with overseeing or mentoring junior staff is a plus.Experience with FFE (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) design and deliverables.Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.Excellent verbal, written communication, and graphic skills.Effective time management and multitasking abilities.Position PreferencesPublic Sector work experience, especially Higher Education, K-12 Education, Libraries and Civic work.Proficiency with design software programs : Revit, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.Salary RangeThis position offers $92,000 - $106,000 per year with a midpoint at $99,000.
