What are the responsibilities and job description for the Molding Operator - 1st Shift position at INTEK PLASTICS LLC?
This position is on our 1st shift, Monday through Friday 7am-3pm!
Five Star Plastics, Inc. is a full process plastics injection molding company, searching for an entry-level or experienced Molding Operator. Molding Operators are scheduled for 8 hour shifts, 5 days a week, with no swing shift schedule. We offer a year-round, climate-controlled work environment, shift bonuses, and on-the-job training.
This individual should be self-motivated, have an attention to detail, can work with little or no supervision, and is available for overtime if necessary. Molding Operators will also interface with people, machines, tools, and supplies to produce, package, and monitor the quality of plastic parts and assemblies.
Duties:
- Manually operate presses
- Finishing and trimming of parts
- Ensure parts match quality criteria
- Review and fill out required paperwork accurately
- Assist in training new operators
- Maintain neat and orderly work stations
- Any other duties as required by the manager
