What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Engineer - Datacenter position at Intel Corporation?
As a Data Center Software Engineer, you will be part of an energetic and diverse group of engineers building next-generation solutions, enabling Intel to be one generation ahead in technology.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Ensures the efficient planning, provisioning, installation/configuration, maintenance, and/or operations of the hardware and software infrastructure required to build, validate, and release various hardware and software products and projects.
Works closely with development and quality teams to derive infrastructure design requirements, build, test, and automate tools appropriate to the project, and/or implement and maintain those systems within the constraints imposed by Intel enterprise infrastructure (IT) and other governing bodies.
Owns the end-to-end delivery pipeline, including source code management, versioning/tagging strategy, component build and packaging, test automation tooling, release staging, acceptance and/or indicators, required security and IP scans, any third-party conformance tools, artifact storage and distribution, and disaster recovery planning.
Identifies opportunities and implements solutions for increased pipeline automation, reliability, and/or velocity by implementing robust infrastructure telemetry, KPIs, and indicators and monitoring and applying industry best practices.

What we need to see (Minimum Qualifications):
US Citizenship required.
Ability to obtain and maintain an active US Government clearance.
The candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or another relevant field of study.
3+ months of experience with Linux OS (preferred SUSE) and scripting languages such as Python/Perl.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ months of experience with industry-standard tools such as Ansible, Cobbler, Cfengine, Containers/Kubernetes.
3+ months of experience with continuous monitoring solutions such Elastic, Kibana, Grafana.
Salary : $96,000 - $136,000
