Shift: 2nd shift
Hours: 1:30pm - 12am
Location: Kenosha, WI
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Press Brake Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a press brake to fabricate and assemble metal parts, ensuring high-quality products and meeting production deadlines. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes and the ability to read blueprints accurately.
Duties:
- Operate a press brake to fabricate and assemble metal parts to precise specifications
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to accurately interpret fabrication requirements
- Use a micrometer to ensure accurate measurements and quality control
- Assemble and fabricate metal parts using various tools and techniques
- Program and operate laser cutting machines to cut metal parts
- Maintain and clean the press brake and surrounding work area
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing processes
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on the press brake and other equipment
- Operate a crane to move heavy materials around the manufacturing facility
Qualifications:
- Proven experience of 5 years or more as a Press Brake Operator or in a related fabrication or manufacturing role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication processes
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Experience with laser cutting machines and programming software
- Familiarity with tooling and stamping press operations
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
