This job posting is to recruit exceptional talent into a technical leadership position in one of the most unique roles to exist within the microelectronics industry. The successful candidate will develop and execute a complex strategy working across the RND interests of government agencies and Intel Corporation.
Specific Job Description :
This role will have significant responsibility for a core IGT / Intel research focus area. This position is recruiting for one of several RND Strategic Pillar Leads to represent a specific pillar, including AI and HPC, Edge and Sensing, Security, Foundry, and Novel Computing. These Pillar Leads will connect Intel's technology know-how with the unique needs of the Government.
As a successful applicant, you will :
- Determine strategic imperatives for external RND engagement in your pillar focus area.
- Engage across targeted Government Sponsored activities to determine their future platform requirements.
- Support efforts to attract funding for aligned technology RND.
- Establish consistent methodologies to evaluate and define the value of Government opportunities.
- Enable novel use of Intel's Foundry services to meet Government mission needs.
- Deploy strategies to increase effectiveness across IGT, Intel, and our Government Sponsor agencies.
- Develop opportunities to increase Intel technology adoption for Government use-cases.
- Share developments continuously with your RND team peers and the broader Intel organization.
- Mentor and coach the next generation of technologists and engineers.
- Monitor all active programs in your RND pillar area to ensure successful execution.
Qualifications :
The candidate must have a recognized degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field and meet one of the following experience requirements :

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US : $214,730.00-$303,140.00. Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
