As a Facilities TD Industrial Wastewater Systems (IWS) Technician your responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

Interact with engineering as well as other operation technicians maintaining Industrial Waste Systems.

Recognize and drive the closure of safety issues found in the field or within their discipline.

Display knowledge of site wide facilities system inter-relationships and supports engineering in the operation, evaluation and modifications of these systems.

Utilize data interpreting tools to drive improvements.

Provide leadership on cross discipline activities and engages in major site events.

Perform CS SPOC duties in support of department needs.

Mentor all technicians to some capacity to encompass training, safety and work plans.

Ensure that all operational expectations are being followed by their shift members.

Role model team development and promotes individual empowerment.

Partner with our strategic suppliers and contractor personnel.

Operate and maintain industrial wastewater treatment and purification systems, including biological treatment systems, which support our operations facilities.

Perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance procedures.

Utilize quality systems and diagnosing process issues in industrial treatment systems.

Maintain Analytical equipment.

Take liquid and solid samples and performing routine laboratory tests.

Utilize Maximo Maintenance planning software.

Utilize SCADA and Cimplicity control systems.

Interact with the factory and other customers and stakeholders.

Treat studies of different chemical constituents feeding Industrial Waste system.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications :

The candidate must possess at least one of the following :

Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree in STEM or Facility Management OR

Certification in a water program or related field OR

4 years of Military technical experience is considered in lieu of a degree with work experience in wastewater system operations OR

2 years of work experience in Industrial Wastewater System operations or related.

The candidate must be willing to :

Lift up to 40 lbs, pull 250lbs at least 4x day

Spend the majority of the time (greater than 90 percent less break time) on the floor working on toolsets, walking 3-5 miles a day, and / or standing / sitting for 9 hours.

Preferred Qualifications :

Wastewater certification or equivalent would be an added advantage.

1 years of experience in :

Facilities maintenance.

Biological wastewater treatment.

Reverse osmosis water treatment systems.

Electric boilers, thermal evaporation systems.
