Join our Corporate Planning Capabilities Program Management Office to lead and drive highly complex and large scope programs that change the way in which Intel executes corp. manufacturing planning and optimization across all factories both internal and external.
 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leverages strong knowledge of technology/specialized domains, project/program management techniques and data driven methodologies to provide analytical and process management expertise to project/program teams.
  • Coordinates project/programs related to one or more technology domains such as systems, technology embedded components of corporate processes (e.g., HR, Finance), or specialized domains such as, manufacturing, supply chain, etc.
  • Conducts quantitative and qualitative analytical research and prepares recommendations to support project/program objectives, including but not limited to assessing resource utilization, maintaining project management systems, tracking project progress and efficiency, monitoring objectives and key results (OKR)/technical indicators, identifying performance gaps, assessing project/program risks and ensuring compliance with processes and guidelines.
  • Collaborates with technology and/or supply chain project/program managers to develop and maintain project/program management infrastructure in areas such as issue tracking, reporting, dashboard monitoring, deck building/storyboarding, project plan builds, monitoring and analysis, etc.
  • Works with stakeholders to gather and define requirements and assist with test case development and user acceptance testing.
  • Create high confidence project development and execution plans with well-defined objectives, milestones and measurable success criteria.
  • Monitors progress against schedule and determines and takes remedial action as appropriate. Coordinates and prioritizes utilization of resources with other functions.
  • Keep the project on track; effectively work through challenges with functional areas and executive management.
  • Lead the project team in complex technical and non-technical problem solving.
  • Applies technical background/specialized technology domain knowledge to manage complex projects and/or programs that are directly tied to the development, implementation, or upgrade of technology solutions/services
  • Establish the project priorities, direction, decisions within the defined scope of the projects.
  • Ensure risks are defined, communicated and addressed through mitigation plans.
  • Regularly present and provide communication for plans, risks, status and decisions to varied audiences from functional areas to executive management.
  • Has decision making authority at the project level.
  • Leads the project team and is key interface to the project or contributors.
  • Works on or delegates, as appropriate, problems/tasks in delivery of specific objectives or general goals. Develops solutions to problems by exercising judgment and discretion.
  • Implements program management BKM's as defined by the PMO. Identifies tasks, determines dependencies, assesses costs, and identifies and assigns specific resources, and communicates expectations to team members.
  • Understands the technical concepts, architecture, systems, development methods, and disciplines associated with the defined projects, applies the knowledge to deliverables, and leverages it to accelerate project completion.

  • Willingness to balance resources effectively to the project needs and make trade-off recommendations with the "big picture" view to executive management.
  • Willingness to synthesize complex technical and business information into clear and concise messages with options enabling efficient and effective decision making.
  • Proven leadership and willingness to manage highly matrixed teams by influence.
  • Demonstrated success in inspiring and leading highly functional cross organization teams that consistently execute with velocity and quality.

Qualifications


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel Immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in STEM or business.
6 years' experience as a technical program manager, managing complex projects with highly matrixed teams across multiple geographies.
2 years’ experience leading an ERP/SAP Program Implementation.

Preferred Qualifications:

5 years’ experience with structured product development and manufacturing processes, product lifecycle gate release process, and change control processes.

5 years’ experience utilizing program execution methods around, schedule creation and tracking, risk management definition, tracking and mitigation, resource planning, team minutes creation, AR tracking, financial tracking, etc.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $123,139.00-$203,801.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
