MINIMUM 2-3 YEARS OF MATERIAL HANDLER EXPERIENCE.
Intela is looking to fill a Material Handler/Forklift Driver role for a Machinery & Oil manufacturer in the city of San Bernardino, CA.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 6:00am – 2:30pm.

Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, and transport steel materials (plates, beams, pipes, bars etc.) within the fabrication shop using forklifts, and other handling equipment.
- Organize and stage raw materials according to work orders and production schedules.
- Ensure proper storage of steel products to prevent damage and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Operate forklifts, or grapple-equipped material handlers safely.
- Perform daily inspections on handling equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with minor repairs or adjustments to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
- Maintain accurate records of material movement, including receiving shipments and issuing materials to production teams.
- Work with inventory control teams to track stock levels and report shortages.
- Label and tag steel materials appropriately for identification.
- Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines for handling and storing steel materials.
- Wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure proper lifting techniques.
- Report hazards, unsafe practices, or damaged materials to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Must pass be Forklift Certified.
- Must pass Background Check.
- Experience in steel handling, warehouse operations, or a fabrication shop setting.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, and industrial material handlers.
- Knowledge of different types of steel materials and their handling requirements.
- Ability to read work orders, and inventory documents.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
- Attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
