Prepare civil engineering plans for water and wastewater distribution and conveyance infrastructure, with a focus on site design elements, including site layout, utility piping, roadways, paving, grading, drainage, and stormwater management systems.
Conduct thorough reviews of contractor submittals to ensure compliance with contract plans and specifications, and evaluate requests for information (RFIs) as part of engineering support services during the construction phase
Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in civil/site development.
- Experience in preparing detailed working drawings for civil site plans, including layout, plan and profile, grading, drainage, and paving.
- Experience in planning and designing facility layouts and site development projects.
- Drainage design experience preferred; familiarity with Cascade 2001 and/or ICPR Version 4 is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and project teams.
- Proficient in AutoCAD with a solid working knowledge of the software.
- Miami-Dade County design and permitting experience preferred but not Mandatory.
Compensation: $90,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
