The Area Manager (ARM) position is one that oversees a sub-section of a region ( PacCentral - Monterey, Salinas, Santa Cruz, San Jose ). The ARM will manage multiple contracts, clients, projects, and Account Managers, and on occasion, could directly manage job order or project-level tasks at any client.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Client Administration - Maintain client relationships at the Director level and above; conduct quarterly check-in meetings to evaluate performance, pipeline, and future opportunities.
- New Client Start-up Manager - Assist the Regional Director and lead the assigned Account Manager through the new client start-up process. Coordinate the start-up schedule and provide quality control on all deliverables (D&l documents, Gordian Cloud forms / reports, pre-bid presentations, etc.).
- Contract Administration - Ensure all areas of service and deliverables as detailed in Gordian's contract are being met. Track contract and contract option expirations and coordinate with clients and Gordian legal department on renewals.
- Employee Management - Manage all Account Management and support staff within the territory. This includes managing MyFortive, Expensify, Kronos, etc. Assist the RD in developing Performance for Growth and Development for Growth goals for team members. Participate in Gordian's LEAD program unless previously completed and excused by HR.
- Budget Development & Management - Assist the RD in the development of the annual budget and provide analysis of historical client volume, current pipeline, and future client budgets (if available).
- Financial Forecasting - Review and follow developed standard of work for mid-month, quarterly, and yearly forecasting. Delegate data collection to AMs and JOC Coordinator. Provide comments and backup information to RD on any budget variants and mid-month forecasts.
- Coordination with Marketing, Product & Sales - Assist marketing with access to clients for case studies, marketing collateral, or Harry Mellon Award of Excellence submissions. Work with RD to identify upsell / cross-sell opportunities and coordinate introduction meetings between the sales team and client. Assist product and other departments with Voice of Customer requests.
- Gordian Cloud Migration Manager - Oversee the operations team through all Gordian Cloud migrations. Understand proper procedures, standards, and best practices. Provide weekly and monthly reporting to RD (and others as necessary) on migration progress and elevate issues and concerns to the proper department.
- Contractor Outreach - Assist the outreach team in reaching out to the contractor community. Assist clients in getting and reporting participation in their Job Order Contracts. Conduct JOC 101 presentations semi-annually to educate contractors. Coordinate with JOC Coordinator in creating and distributing materials associated with contractor outreach.
