Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Python Developer for a contingent resource assignment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for addressing complex initiatives with broad impact and contributing to large-scale software engineering projects. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Consult on complex initiatives with significant scope, planning, and impact within Software Engineering.
• Analyze and review multifaceted, large-scale, or long-term software engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including unprecedented scenarios.
• Contribute to resolving complex challenges while adhering to policies, procedures, and compliance requirements to ensure deliverables are met.
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel to align technical solutions with business goals.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years of Software Engineering experience, demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with related frameworks.
• Strong expertise in database technologies, including Oracle, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with Django and Airflow for building scalable applications and workflows.
• Ability to analyze and optimize complex systems while ensuring high-quality code and performance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with large consulting firms or a background in the military.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in dynamic, team-oriented environments.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems such as Git.
