What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Controls Analyst position at Intell Workforce Group?
Currently seeking a Finance Controls Analyst with our client in the financial Industry located in Charlotte, NC This is a 24 month contract position.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in low to moderately complex financial control initiatives
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within Financial Controls
- Review and analyze basic or tactical Financial Controls assignments, including challenges requiring research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, related to low-to-medium risk deliverables
- Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations
- Exercise some independent judgment while developing your understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Provide support and information to personnel in Financial Controls
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Reporting or Business and Technology Audit experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience with Finance or Technology Audit
- Technical proficiency with tools such as SQL or Essbase
- Experience with financial analysis and forecasting processes
- Familiarity with data management techniques and controls
- Ability to manage and track control remediation efforts across multiple teams and processes
