What are the responsibilities and job description for the Model Enablement Software Engineer position at Intell Workforce Group?
Currently seeking a Software Engineer-Model Enablement with our client in the financial Industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 month contract position.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
- Contribute to the design and development of solutions using technologies including Python, Spark, Django, Postgres SQL, and Power BI
- Implement data ETL processes and develop queries in big data environments
- Develop and maintain APIs, supporting CI/CD processes using Jenkins and other DevOps tools
- Ensure solutions comply with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Assist in resolving moderately complex engineering issues and provide subject matter expertise
- Partner closely with the Model Development and Governance teams to manage model lifecycle processes
Required Qualifications:
- 4 years of Software Engineering experience, demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military service, or education
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience with:
Python development
Database development (Postgres SQL preferred)
Power BI report development
Data ETL processes
- Querying and working in big data environments experience contributing to all stages of the SDLC
- Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision
