Java Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Engineer with expertise in integrations to join various projects within our Emerging Technologies department. In this role, you will work with Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLTs) and should be motivated to learn and explore these technologies. 

Responsibilities

• Working with Java 17 , REST API, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA (HIbernate/JPA), Maven, Postgres.
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain Java application phases, code, and software.
• Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.
• Transform requirements into stipulations and identify production and non-production application issues.
• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle.
• Coach and mentor other members of the development team, growing the collective knowledge and expertise of the group.

Technical skills

• Experienced in Java development (6 years).
• Upper-intermediate English or higher.
• Integration experience.
• Writing end-customer specifications in English.
• High level of problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn about emerging technologies.
• Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/OpenShift/GKE/AKS), and Helm.
• Experience event-driven integration patterns - knowledge using microservices architecture with message queues (Kafka).

Nice to have:

• Previous experience with DLT projects
