Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist with items such as the assembly of electrical cabinets, termination of wires, routing cables, and installing components (sensors, etc.) within a work cell.
- Ability to read and follow electrical schematics. The candidate should be able to follow callouts on electrical schematics.
- Performance of basic mechanical assembly of components and assemblies. Assist in the assembly and installation of mechanical components such as mounting plates, brackets, work cell subassemblies, robotic end-of-arm tooling, and machine guarding.
- Read and follow basic mechanical drawings in the execution of equipment build and assembly. Candidates would be able to read basic mechanical part drawings as well as mechanical assembly drawings.
- Works closely with internal cross-functional teams, contractors, suppliers, and outside vendors to achieve desired results.
- Work as part of a functional team under the direction of the assigned project manager in the timely execution of projects. Includes providing status updates for assigned tasks and activities.
- Develop and refine skills related to robotics, controls, safety systems to support both project execution and training of operational staff.
- Travel will be necessary.
- BS in Engineering or MS in Engineering (preferred).
