Job Description:
- Hands-on experience in drafting Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) for FMCG, Pharma, Fine, Agro, and specialty chemical processes.
- Coordinate with offshore design teams, clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure design deliverables meet customer expectations.
- Ensure quality by adhering to company quality documents, conducting regular soft and hard copy checks.
- Facilitate interdisciplinary coordination to align design efforts across multiple disciplines.
- Onsite experience for reviewing process and utility diagrams.
- Develop 3D models, including plant layouts, piping designs, instrument and valve placements, piping specials, pipe supports, and cable trays.
- Demonstrated experience creating intelligent P&IDs using AutoCAD P&ID (or similar software).
- Experience creating electrical bubble diagrams for hazardous area classifications.
- Familiarity with SP3D and PDMS for 3D model reviews, gathering information for all piping systems as defined in P&IDs within existing facilities and new plants.
- Apply broad knowledge of engineering principles and practices to project engineering, making independent decisions on discipline-specific problems.
- Represent the discipline during client interactions to resolve technical questions and coordinate work as needed.
- Prepare and oversee work plans in line with project scope, schedule, and budget, managing implementation and performance.
- Review and approve key engineering drawings, calculations, and bid summaries.
- Facilitate technical discussions with third parties (clients, suppliers, regulators) and coordinate with client representatives to obtain drawing/document approvals for various project phases.
Educational Qualification:
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
