What are the responsibilities and job description for the Design Engineer position at Intellectt Inc?
Responsibilities:
- Expertise in drafting Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) for FMCG, Pharma, Fine, Agro, and Specialty Chemicals.
- Create 3D models including plant layouts, piping designs, and layouts featuring instruments, valves, supports, and cable trays.
- Demonstrated experience with intelligent P&IDs in AutoCAD P&ID or similar software.
- Experience in SP3D and PDMS for creating and reviewing 3D models in existing facilities and new plants.
- Apply a broad knowledge of engineering principles to project work.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, calculations, and bid summaries.
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with process design and drafting tools.
- Experience working onsite for review and technical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards for hazardous areas and piping systems.
