Job Description
Functional position : AUTOCAD DESIGNER - PIPING
Working as front face to customer and undertaking below tasks.
- Residual 2D drafting update (Update in Native CAD file) of various deliverables viz.
- Equipment Layout / Plot Plan
- Piping Layout
- Piping Isometric
- General Arrangement Drawing
- Piping Support Drawings
- Tie-In packages
- Demolition Drawings
- Update for MOC, As Built & Demolish as per redline markup.
- Submit updated drawing for Review through pre-defined document management workflow.
- Update client observation and submit updated drawing on client’s document management
- portal through pre-defined document management workflow.
- Drawing development from scratch based on sketches.
- Work Tracking and Status update.
- Preparing Sketches/PPT for quick discussion and resolution of engineering issues.
- Quality Review and Validation of final deliverables before submission to client.
- Knowledge Base / Soft Skills
- Good understanding of:
- P&ID and PFD Drawings
- Piping layout and routing fundamentals
- Pipe Support
- Isometrics
- Layout/Plot Plan
- Advanced knowledge of CAD and AutoCAD software.
- Ability to read and translate redlines and technical comments.
- A keen eye for aesthetics, detail and drafting guidelines.
- Strong communication skills
- Working knowledge of 3D model review in Navisworks
- Exposure to Brownfield / Turnaround / MOC projects involving interfaces with existing facilities.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Power Point, Document management portals.
- Position specific requirements: Sector: Oil & Gas and/or Chemical
