Job Title: Inbuilding Construction Manager - Implementation Management

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced In Building Construction Manager to oversee civil works and ensure compliance with quality, scheduling, and financial control. This role is based in the Kansas City metroplex, is fully remote, and requires travel. The Construction Manager will be responsible for managing service providers, ensuring adherence to Ericsson and federal/local standards, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all civil works related In building construction projects.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Confirm that only customer-approved materials are used.
- Attend coordination and progress meetings.
- Provide on-site supervision, ensuring minimal disruption to customer operations.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Resolve civil works issues and coordinate site activities.
- Ensure service providers and vendors comply with technical specifications and quality expectations.
- Conduct pre- and post-construction site inspections and quality checks.
- Maintain and update construction-related documents in Site Handler.
- Prepare progress reports and provide status updates to project management.
- Monitor material deliveries and reject incorrect or subpar materials.
- Supervise and coordinate work among service providers and project teams.
- Lead and mentor teams, focusing on quality and project success.
- Manage documentation, including SOWs, RFDS submissions, and civil acceptance documents.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, preferably in telecom or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Experience managing projects with over 500 sites.
- Strong knowledge of safety and compliance regulations.
- Proven ability to solve complex problems and improve processes.
- Leadership experience in guiding project teams and service providers.
Mandatory Certifications & Training:
- OSHA 30 Certification
- RF Awareness Training
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Ergonomics Training
- Supplier is responsible for tracking and funding 40 hours of training per year, including fees, travel expenses, and training time.
- Ericsson covers time for required weekly safety briefings and additional approved training.
