Role : Instrumentation & Electrical Filed Walkdown Designer
Location : Midland, Texas - Onsite
Job Description & Skill Requirement :
- Instrumentation & Electrical Field Walkdown Designer with 5-8 years of experience of Field Walkdown, Redline, As-Built services in Upstream, Midstream, Downstream facilities in compliance with NFPA, API Standards codes and standards, project specifications, & general specifications prevalent in Oil & Gas, Refinery.
- Carry out Field Walkdown verification : Instrumentation and Electrical Drawings : Junction Boxes, Control Panel, MCCs and P&ID
- Perform Redline Mark-ups on the drawings per the field verification changes
- Travel to different sites in Midland / Permian Basin Area per the project schedule requirement
- Provide inputs to the design team in local and remote office in India.
- Review the Mark-ups / CAD drawings and provide the quality review feedback to design team
- Understand the project scope and schedule and
- Capture photos of Instrumentation, Panels, MCC, Field JBs, Marshalling Panels, equipment, covering different views and its connections using client developed inspection application from handheld devices (customer provided or personal).
- Knowledge of Field Instrumentation, Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Layout drawings, Hook-up Drawings, JB Drawings and Control room FTA is highly desirable.
- Drive company's 4x4 on daily basis to reach facilities - can involve off road driving.
- Keep the vehicle in up and running condition.
- Submit expenses on Company's online system.
- This is a field-based role, 40 hrs a week, with minimum expectations to :
- Stay over-night outside of Midland at Customer approved facility, if facility is far off from Midland.
- Rent 4x4 vehicle at Company's expense, if Company's vehicle is not available.
- Maintain professional conduct at all times and adhere to Coordinator's instructions on day-to-day tasks.
