Role: Laboratory Technician – Medical Devices
Duration: 6-12 months

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Laboratory Technician to support the development, testing, and quality assurance of medical devices. The ideal candidate will assist in routine and specialized laboratory tasks, perform testing in compliance with regulatory standards, and ensure accurate data documentation to support product development and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting the manufacturing and assembling clinical and commercial products including lab maintenance, file maintenance and support in creating materials for batches to meet specifications.
- Responsibilities and Duties
- Cleans lab supplies and glassware
- Builds panels/dispense bottles
- Operates glass washers, dryers, and autoclaves
- Creates label files from templates
- Assists with the removal and disposal of waste chemicals
- Creates solutions, powders, and liquids for batches to meet specifications
- Provides training support for on-boarding and/or new procedures
- Demonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Must follow all housekeeping policies and procedures
- Must follow all safety policies and procedures
- Must be able to work overtime as required to meet business requirements
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of laboratory experience, preferably in medical devices or a regulated environment.
Skills:
- Proficiency with laboratory instruments and techniques.
- High school degree with technical certification in the area of laboratory operations plus 1 year laboratory experience, AS degree in a scientific discipline with 1 year laboratory experience, or BS degree in a scientific discipline
- Knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and other industry standards.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic proficiency in data analysis and reporting software.
- Must be proficient in English with the ability to read, write, analyze/evaluate charts, follow simple diagrams and perform basic arithmetic
- Proficiency in MS Excel is required
